Seven-hundred pounds of explosives and 400 detonators stolen from Pennsylvania worksite

Fri, 2018-04-20 17:16
Authorities may be offering the hefty reward out of fear the explosives will somehow be used in some type of future attack or improvised explosive device much like the recent Austin bombings in Texas

LANCASTER COUNTY (INTELLIHUB) — Federal authorities are now offering a $20,000 reward for information pertaining to a recent heist in which seven-hundred pounds of explosives (dynamite) along with 400 detonators (blasting caps) were stolen out of a locked truck trailer parked at a local construction site over the weekend.

According to ABC News: “The company is a subcontractor of Williams Partners, which is managing the Atlantic Sunrise pipeline project in Lancaster County.”

Please take note, the reason authorities are offering so much money for a lead is presumably because they feel the explosives could be used in a future attack or many IED-style attacks much like the recent bombings in Austin, Texas.

Chuck Schumer wants to legalize it

Fri, 2018-04-20 13:31
Top Senate Dem. announces marijuana legislation on 4/20

Senate minority leader Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) on Friday morning announced his intention to introduce legislation to decriminalize marijuana federally.

“Today, I am formally announcing my plan to decriminalize marijuana at the federal level. It’s time we allow states, once and for all, to have the power to decide what works best for them,” Schumer wrote on Twitter.

Schumer’s official announcement followed a Thursday night interview with Vice News, in which he discussed his legalization agenda. The sexagenarian Senator also signed a bong for the news site, which has attained a marijuana-laced reputation with articles like “The Best Weed Strains for Mind-Blowing Sex.”

Democratic Party files suit alleging Russia, the Trump campaign, and WikiLeaks conspired to disrupt the 2016 election

Fri, 2018-04-20 13:02

Intellihub editor’s note: The Democrats along with deep state operatives are making a last ditch effort to thwart the latest push by key Republicans who plan to prosecute Hillary Clinton and others for colluding with the Russian government in various uranium deals and more. Looks the the Dems are squirming.

  • The Democratic National Committee sued the Trump campaign, the Russian government, Wikileaks on Friday, accusing them of conspiring to disrupt the 2016 presidential election.
  • President Donald Trump’s son Donald Trump Jr. and son-in-law Jared Kushner are among the defendants.
  • The DNC says Russia found a “willing and active partner” in the Trump campaign to attack American democracy and defeat Hillary Clinton.

The Democratic Party on Friday sued President Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the Russian government and the Wikileaks group, claiming a broad illegal conspiracy to help Trump win the 2016 election.

The multi-million-dollar lawsuit filed in Manhattan federal court says that “In the Trump campaign, Russia found a willing and active partner in this effort” to mount “a brazen attack on American Democracy,” which included Russian infiltration of the Democratic Party computer network.

The Trump campaign, according to the lawsuit, “gleefully welcomed Russia’s help.”

The suit says that “preexisting relationships with Russia and Russian oligarchs” with Trump and Trump associates “provided fertile ground for [the] Russia-Trump conspiracy.”

Comey’s memos on President Donald Trump revealed

Fri, 2018-04-20 09:54
Former FBI Director James Comey’s 15-page memo reveals several alleged conversations between the former FBI director and the President from Comey’s perspective

(INTELLIHUB) — Former FBI Director James Comey revealed his version of a conversation he claims to have had with President Donald Trump in a 15-page memo drafted by the former FBI director back in January 2017.

In the memo which Comey emailed to Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, FBI General Council James Baker, and FBI Chief of Staff James Rybicki on 7 Jan. 2017, Comey claims he told President Trump during a conversation they had at the White House how the Russians allegedly had tapes of the president involved with prostitutes in a Ritz Carlton Presidential Suite back in 2013 and claims that the president admitted that ‘there were no prostitutes.’

On page 2 of the memo, Comey wrote:

He said something about him needing to be the type of guy who didn’t need to “go there” and laughed (which I understood to be communicating that he didn’t need to pay for sex).

Additionally, Comey claims the President then tried to recount the time period to himself but didn’t add anything.

“He said that he always assumed that hotel rooms he stayed in when he travels are wired in some way,” Comey wrote. “I replied that I do as well.”

Rise of the robots: 8 professions that will be taken over by AI technology

Fri, 2018-04-20 09:03

As robots and artificial intelligence (AI) technology begin their takeover, more jobs will be taken away from humans, resulting in entire professions being supplanted by next level advances in modern technology. This is no longer a what-if, but a well-known fact. Robots have started to take away human jobs, and they will continue to do so as they get more sophisticated.

There might be those who think their own jobs are safe from this change, and for the most part, they’re right. But it’s really only a matter of time before technology catches up and will soon start automating things that currently require the time, effort, and attention of actual human beings. When that happens, wouldn’t you rather be prepared?

In one major study, researchers arrived at the conclusion that almost half of all currently existing jobs in the U.S. will be replaced with machines and automation in the next few decades. The technology that will be needed to make this happen has only gotten more advanced, and it’s likely that the percentage of eventual job losses has increased. But no matter what the case may be, there are certain professions that are just destined to be replaced by robots. Here are some of them.

  • Chefs – Burger-flipping robots are just the beginning. In the future, it may be possible to run entire restaurants with nothing more than a single computer and a staff of autonomous machines. Imagine walking into a restaurant where you input your order into a touchscreen, a robot waiter brings it over for you to eat, and you leave without even taking out your wallet because your bill has already been charged to your account. That restaurant could become a reality sooner than you think.
  • Customer Service Agents – Answering machines are a primitive example of the kind of AI technology that will eventually take away Customer Service Agent jobs. With chat robots, service lines can be much more efficient and can be used to reach more people than is currently possible. After all, the number of agents available serves as the hard limit on the number of calls that can be placed or taken at any given time. Robots will change this in a big way, and it’s going to happen eventually.
  • Drivers – Self-driving cars were thought of as impossible just a few years ago, yet now they are fast becoming standard across many developed nations in the world. The technology behind them is not perfect yet, but neither are actual humans when it comes to driving. Public transportation systems will be affected by this change the most.
  • Financial Analysts – Being a financial analyst requires going through numbers and records, trying to find patterns and possible trades, and making sense of it all on a daily basis. This sounds exactly like the type of job perfectly suited to a computer, which can run computations indefinitely as long as the power is running. It would require no food, no water, and no salary, unlike human counterparts. They could become industry standard within the next decade.
  • Journalists – Words on a screen can be rearranged to fit pretty much any agenda or narrative, and the technology that can be used to do this automatically is already available. It’s only a matter of time until full-on publications are filled with nothing more than a bunch of computers running specific algorithms for either news, features or even reviews.
  • Lawyers – Much of a lawyer’s work involves going through documents and tons of data and finding things that may be relevant to the case at hand. All of this grunt work can be done quickly and accurately with computers, and in fact, it’s already happening. Sooner or later, human lawyers will be replaced entirely with algorithmic robot alternatives.
  • Manual Laborers – Just like the chef robot and the restaurant service robot, physically dexterous machines have been invented to handle certain types of manual labor. They’re not as efficient as they need to be yet, but they have already begun to show their potential for use as bricklayers and in performing certain construction jobs.
  • Medics – As skillful as they are, doctors are simply no match to machines when it comes to accuracy, precision, and ability to hold raw information. The medical field could be hit hard by automation in the next decade, and future hospital visits may be with robot doctor appointments.

It may be a while before robots completely take over human jobs, but at the end of the day, it’s only a matter of time. It’s best to arm yourself with knowledge and information before that happens.

Cohen abandons BuzzFeed, Fusion GPS, lawsuits over Steele dossier, may flip on Trump, top attorney warns

Thu, 2018-04-19 13:12
Top attorney Jay Goldberg has warned President Donald Trump that his attorney Michael Cohen may flip on him in the long run after receiving pressure from prosecutors

(INTELLIHUB) — Longtime attorney for Donald Trump Micheal Cohen has been pressed up against the proverbial fence lately by the deep state who’ve seems to have forced his hand to abandon defamation lawsuits Cohen’s team filed back in January against BuzzFeed, and Fusion GPS over the infamous Steele dossier which purports Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia, and openly admits Hillary Clinton’s conversations were bugged by the Russian Intelligence Services.

“The decision to voluntarily discontinue these cases was a difficult one,” Cohen’s attorney David Schwartz said in a statement Wednesday. “We believe the defendants defamed my client, and vindicating Mr. Cohen’s rights was, and still remains, important. But given the events that have unfolded, and the time, attention, and resources needed to prosecute these matters, we have dismissed the matters, despite their merits.”

The dossier was published by BuzzFeed in January of 2017 and claims that Cohen was sent to Europe and the Czech Republic to “clean up the mess” on Trumps reported Russian ties.

Embed from Getty Imageswindow.gie=window.gie||function(c){(gie.q=gie.q||[]).push(c)};gie(function(){gie.widgets.load({id:'ANSa7pV_TNVGNDdvJfCKPg',sig:'ygC6oJMgXtntZUdIQym8f3iDYP3KK4wB7LqQtwACeMA=',w:'594px',h:'396px',items:'947139328',caption: false ,tld:'com',is360: false })});

Although both BuzzFeed and Fusion GPS claim the lawsuit was baseless and without merit, Fusion GPS decided to release the following statement Wednesday to put the icing on Cohen cake: “With his decision, it appears that Mr. Cohen can now focus on his many other legal travails.”

Embed from Getty Imageswindow.gie=window.gie||function(c){(gie.q=gie.q||[]).push(c)};gie(function(){gie.widgets.load({id:'oGlqp7_nT1R0z3kirRAqfA',sig:'H0u55c2vTX8aUmtdB3eqQLDKtdAHX1xGZ6u-Z2xslzY=',w:'594px',h:'396px',items:'947038508',caption: false ,tld:'com',is360: false })});

Withal, former prosecutor Jay Goldberg has warned President Trump that his lawyer Michael Cohen will eventually be compelled to talk to prosecutors.

As the Wall Street Journal reports:

Mr. Cohen is under criminal investigation for potential bank fraud and campaign-finance violations. FBI agents raided Mr. Cohen’s home, hotel and office last week, seeking documents about, among other things, a $130,000 payment he made in October 2016 to a former adult-film actress to prevent her from publicly discussing an alleged sexual encounter with Mr. Trump in 2006, The Wall Street Journal previously reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

How far will the deep state’s shenanigans go?

Enough is enough.

Is Cohen strong enough to hold his ground to protect the President?

After receiving a nudge, message, from the deep state, will Cohen flip on President Donald Trump?

Neuroscientist shares easy, natural ways to prevent dementia

Thu, 2018-04-19 10:40

So you’ve become a regular at the gym, turned vegan, and done almost everything in your power to stay physically healthy. What about staying mentally fit as well? Mental health is just as important as physical health. Mental fitness protects us from depression, dementia, Alzheimer’s, and other diseases.

Neuroscientist Dr. Lisa Mosconi, director of the Alzheimer’s Prevention Clinic at Weill Cornell Medical College, New York claims we can prevent Alzheimer’s and dementia through healthier food and lifestyle choices. In her new book Brain Food: How to Eat Smart and Sharpen your Mind, Mosconi says that while genetics plays a key role in causing dementia, lifestyle factors, like diet, are just as crucial.

  • Maintain your sugar levels — Our brain depends mainly on glucose (sugar) and needs 62 grams of glucose daily. Before you grab that extra-large pizza though, Mosconi says our brains’ ‘sugar gates’ open when it needs sugar, but shuts down once it’s had enough. Excess glucose can’t enter the “sugar gate.” Instead, it leads to high blood sugar levels and weight gain.
  • Know how your nutrients interact — Nutrients in your body should interact with each other. Make sure you get a balance of polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) and vitamin B.
  • Have plant-based meals — Our vegetarian ancestors knew it all along. Plant-based foods are the best. In fact, 98 percent of those who live long, healthy and dementia-free lives are vegans.
  • Choose organic food well — You can also save on costs by choosing fruits that are in season. You can also opt for wild fish over the farmed variety, since the former tends to have less pollutants and pesticides.
  • Always eat breakfast — Breakfast is indeed the most important meal of the day, because the brain needs an energy source in the morning. This means fresh fruit, whole grains, and lean protein.
  • Go for red wine — Because it is rich in the antioxidant resveratrol, red wine protects our brains and helps us live longer. Mosconi advises women to take a small glass of wine a day for brain health. Organic pomegranate juice, grape juice, and prune juice are good substitutes.
  • Try fasting overnight — Research shows that cutting down on calories enhances cognitive capacity and help you lives longer. Brain cells grow stronger when hungry, so skip that midnight snack and try overnight fasting. This means taking a 12-to-16-hour break from food between dinner and breakfast.
  • Take a cue from ‘blue zones’ — These are regions around the world with the highest number of centenarians. Indians, who consume brain-protective food like spice turmeric, are not as prone to Alzheimer’s than Americans are. The latter are eight times more prone to the disease than their Indian counterparts. People living in Mediterranean countries also live longer because of a diet rich in wild greens like dandelions, legumes, beans and potato, fish and olive oil and an occasional cheese and red wine.
  • Stick to traditional cookware — Mosconi suggests stainless steel, glass and ceramic, not aluminium, plastics, and synthetic cookware with Teflon surfaces since they may have a compound (polytetrafluoroethylene) that can endanger brain health.
  • Take time to sleep — Studies show that adults who slept less than five hours a night showed higher levels of Alzheimer’s plaques in the brain than those who slept more than seven hours. Sleep gives the brain time to clear toxins and flush waste products away.
  • Keep a glass of water by your bed — Drinking eight to ten cups of water a day can boost brain performance by 30 percent. A glass of water when you wake up makes you feel more awake and able to think better.

Our brain needs all the help it can get. Let’s help it stay healthy — whether we’re asleep or awake.

Roger Stone: ‘Barbara Bush was a mean-spirited vindictive drunk’

Wed, 2018-04-18 19:17
Top pundit calls out Barbara Bush after her timely death, says she’s on her way to Hell

(INTELLIHUB) — Author and political operative Roger Stone told Infowars commander-in-chief Alex Jones that the former First Lady Barbara Bush is ascending into Hell right now following her timely death.

“She was a mean-spirited vindictive drunk,” the infamous political pundit and author told Jones on Wednesday’s broadcast. “She’s ascending into Hell right now.”

“She was a bad person,” Stone said as Jones butted in to explain how the former First Lady ‘was married to the head of a former Nazi crime syndicate.’

Social media now being used by police and intelligence agencies to collect biometrics

Wed, 2018-04-18 12:09

Amid the ongoing Facebook/Cambridge Analytica debacle over their general surveillance and misuse of users’ private data, there is an emerging trend that is infinitely more disturbing.

The first story popped up in the UK yesterday where police admitted to using a photo sent through WhatsApp to cull fingerprints for evidence that successfully led to the conviction of 11 individuals for drug crimes. The story further revealed that this was not just a special-use case; apparently, it is a technique that has been developed specifically to use the vast amount of public photos available to extract evidence from images that have been posted or transmitted online.

As reported by Dawn Luger for The Daily Sheeple, this new technique is being rolled out and law enforcement is calling it “groundbreaking,” as it can pull information from even partial photos:

It all started with a drug bust. The bust resulted in the police getting hold of a phone that had a WhatsApp message and image of ecstasy pills in a person’s palm. The message read: “For sale – Skype and Ikea-branded ecstasy pills…are you interested?”

The phone was sent to South Wales Police where the photo showing the middle and bottom portion of a pinky was enhanced.

“Despite being provided with only a very small section of the fingerprint which was visible in the photograph, the team were able to successfully identify the individual,” said Dave Thomas, forensic operations manager at the Scientific Support Unit.

No specifics were actually given by the police department about this “pioneering fingerprint technique,” but it is quite clear that this is a tool they are ready and willing to use.

Meanwhile, intrusions from Facebook are compounding in the wake of a massive lawsuit sparked by revelations that Facebook appears to be using facial recognition information for much more than just tagging people in your private social circle. The multi-billion dollar lawsuit was just given the go-ahead by an Illinois judge and illustrates the scope of what Facebook retains about people, how they are willing to distribute it, and the lack of safeguards against outside violations:

The class of users approved by Donato dates back to June 2011, when Facebook had an Illinois user base of more than 6 million people, according to lawyers for the plaintiffs. “Although many individuals may not have had enough tagged photos to generate a face template in Facebook’s database, in January 2011 (i.e., before Facebook implemented tag suggestions for all users) the average user was tagged in 53 photos, far more than the 10 needed to generate a face template,” according to a December court filing.

Privacy advocates have said the billions of images Facebook is thought to be collecting could be even more valuable to identity thieves than the names, addresses, and credit card numbers now targeted by hackers. While those types of information are mutable — even Social Security numbers can be changed — biometric data for retinas, fingerprints, hands, face geometry and blood samples are unique identifiers.

And yet, it’s not only hackers and social media companies that have found this data to be irresistible. According to a new report in Forbes, former military intelligence operatives are also creating their own databases from publicly available biometric information.

Forbes identified an Israeli company named Verint that is comprised of ex-spies who have created a service called Face-Int based off of harvested online biometrics. Moreover, their data collection system is one that almost assuredly will spread (if it hasn’t already) as they “have long been vendors for the U.S. government, providing bleeding-edge spy tech to the NSA, the U.S. Navy and countless other intelligence and security agencies.”

Of course, the stated focus of the company’s activities are to pursue terrorists — the catch-all justification to introduce new surveillance technologies that just so happen to inevitably trickle down to mundane law enforcement sooner rather than later, as the UK case above clearly illustrates. Credit should be given to Forbes for acknowledging the reality behind this propaganda, as their article states (emphasis added):

Though Terrogence (now Verint – Ed.) is primarily focused on helping intelligence agencies and law enforcement fight terrorism online, LinkedIn profiles of current and former employees indicate it’s also involved in other, more political endeavours. One ex-staffer, in describing her role as a Terrogence analyst, said she’d “conducted public perception management operations on behalf of foreign and domestic governmental clients,” and used “open source intelligence practices and social media engineering methods to investigate political and social groups.” She was not reachable at the time of publication.

Naturally, since none of the issues surrounding the use of our private online data for law enforcement applications was ever fully disclosed prior to rollout, we are now saddled with a pervasive real-time surveillance apparatus that harvests our information without consent. Moreover, this public-private info-grid is rapidly evolving as courts scramble to define exactly what the violations are and if the individual retains any right to privacy and constitutional protections in the Digital Age.  We are clearly picking up steam down the slippery slope as we are being converted from human beings into digital algorithms where our entire existence is just one click away.

Las Vegas massacre survivor during fully-automatic volley of gunfire: “It’s a helicopter!”

Wed, 2018-04-18 11:45
The sixteenth known witness who saw helicopters above, near, or firing onto the crowd of Route 91 concertgoers statements were captured on video in real-time during last year’s 1 October attack

LAS VEGAS (INTELLIHUB) — An eyewitness to last year’s Route 91 Harvest Music Festival massacre was captured on video during one of the fully-automatic volleys of gunfire frantically shouting about a helicopter which may have been firing upon the crowd of country music concertgoers at the time.

The bombshell footage republished to the John E. Hoover YouTube channel on Wednesday, in a video titled, Is this Clarissa? Las Vegas Shooting: Eyewitness “Live, from the Venue” shows concertgoers reacting to what sounds like light machine-gun fire which quite possibly may have been emitting from an aircraft as one female eyewitness in the video, and others have suggested since day one, as Intellihub has reported on numerous occasions.

(LAS VEGAS) At 10:08:39 p.m. a helicopter retreats toward the air park during the 1 Oct. Route 91 Harvest Music Festival massacre. (Modified screenshot via

The female’s name who spots the helicopter in the newly released video conglomeration is not known at this time but her voice and her emotion tells the entire story.

“That’s a f**king gunshot right?” a woman’s voice [woman #1] can be heard saying over fully-automatic gunfire. (600 rounds per minute +/-)

“Right, it is,” another woman [woman #2] replied calmly.

“No, it’s a helicopter,” another woman [woman #3] frantically explained. “It’s a f***king helicopter! […] It’s not okay!”

When one of the other women offers woman #3 comfort, woman #3 makes clear: “No! It’s a helicopter!”

Virtual personal relationships

Wed, 2018-04-18 09:55

One of the most familiar themes that children are taught is that mankind is a social being. From the earliest age, the process of socialization is integrated into every learning experience or social contact. Getting along with one’s peers is preached as a primary objective for each succeeding generation. Departing from previous contemporaries has been a common trend that shapes and redirects society. Differences between parents and children are often stressed, but the shift among personal relationships, at its very core, has altered from the inception of the cyber age.

Baby boomers were the television indoctrinated, Generation X dropped out without ever watching the news or turning in to the social issues, Gen Y were technology wise and internet savvy and Gen Z kids became preoccupied with a diverse media and computer environment. The trend for each following group diminished their interpersonal skills and social interaction between their own crowd and among different age brackets, became more isolated.

Online dating often has more to do with adding a Facebook friend for chat conversations than for establishing a real relationship in the presence of alive flesh and blood vulnerable people. Relationships are not safe spaces. Snowflakes are not equipped to handle the harsh reality of criticism. Utopia for these pansies consists of mingling among milquetoast jellyfish. All others need not apply. Uncomfortable online contacts come with a delete button as a default response.

Ellie Lisitsa from The Gottman Institute argues in The Digital Age: Empathy In Utopia.

“Online, without nonverbal cues – without the ability to look into someone’s eyes, observe their body language, hear the fluctuations in their tone of voice – we cannot intuit intention or vicariously experience their feelings. A sense of right and wrong, responsibility for one’s actions, can easily vanish. And even if intimate connection is desired, deep emotional attunement becomes effectively impossible. In its stead, we are granted the opportunity to reconstruct ourselves.

We can edit idealized online personas, projecting confidence and omitting reference to perceived human flaws. We can spend months developing a satisfying digital self – a pleasing specimen without imperfections or limitations, and naturally, without necessity to experience negative feelings. There is little room in the midst of all of this perfection for genuine intimacy or authentic connection. In the wise words of Jeremy Rifkin, “There is no empathy in utopia, because there is no suffering.”

This difference between authentic interactions between live humans versus the solicitude of an artificial experience within an electronic universe is as unambiguous as playing World of Warplanes gaming and actually flying a bombing mission over hostile territory.

The attraction of existing in a virtual world insulates the emotions from pain and dulls the mind from confronting in your face dissention. Personal relationships vary by number and quality of intensity. The Bottom Line at the University of California offers up their conclusion in Technology is Destroying the Quality of Human Interaction.

“Past evolutionary psychology research by British anthropologist and psychologist Robin Dunbar has revealed that people are actually limited to a certain number of stable, supportive connections with others in their social network: roughly 150. Furthermore, recent follow-up research by Cornell University’s Bruno Goncalves used Twitter data to show that despite the current ability to connect with vast amounts of people via the Internet, a person can still only truly maintain a friendship with a maximum of 100 to 200 real friends in their social network.”

Lacking in most inquiries about the nature of social networks is an objective analysis about the superficial function and deficiency in the caliber of meaningful relationships. Some of the queries should include, WILL AI DESTROY OUR RELATIONSHIPS? – asks the following questions. How will our very own personal big brother change the way we interact with one another? Our ability to be honest with one another? How we speak to one another? Our ability to get close and form intimate and meaningful relationships with others?

Human nature has not intrinsically altered its fundamental character, flaws or aspirations with the contrivance of digital social networking. David Pearce explores transhumanists in Second Life the aspects of Superintelligence, Superlongevity and Superhappiness?

“Centuries of technological and socio-economic “progress” haven’t left us discernibly happier in the course of a lifetime than our hunter-gatherer ancestors. There’s no compelling scientific evidence that thousands of years of reshaping our environment has cheated the hedonic treadmill one iota. Will the future resemble the past? Almost certainly not. Tomorrow’s neuroscience promises to revolutionize subjective well-being, both individually and for our species as a whole. More speculatively, we may overcome our anthropocentric biases and enrich the rest of sentient life too.

But by how much? Unlike computing power, an exponential growth of happiness is (presumably) impossible, short of technologies beyond human imagination. Yet securing even an approximate linear growth of its biomarkers would represent a stunning discontinuity in the history of life to date. Posthuman versions of the Goldilocks zone – “not too hot, not too cold” – could potentially exceed the hedonic range adaptive for our hominid ancestors by several orders of magnitude, if not more. Will our posthuman descendants eventually decide, to echo Bill McKibben, “Enough!”. Possibly; but if so, it’s unclear how, when and why.

It’s worth emphasizing that the sorts of scenarios for posthuman mood-enrichment explored here aren’t, for the most part, an alternative to other transhuman scenarios of our future, notably superintelligence and super longevity. On the contrary, a fine-grained control of our emotions together with motivational enhancement should enable us, other things being equal, to realize these scenarios more effectively – and to savor their outcome all the more appreciatively. Nor is hedonic enrichment some kind of prescription for how to live posthuman life – any more than being cured of a chronic pain condition dictates how one should lead a pain-free existence. “The world of the happy is quite different from that of the unhappy” observes Wittgenstein in the Tractatus. Yes, and the world of the superhappy is quite different from the human world. Whether we’ll ever investigate its properties, however, is an open question.”

In order to advance contentment and fulfillment, personal relationships are an integral component in the formula. Virtual connections develop ties that conceal or omit authentic bonding or identify instinctive rejection. As the global network of cyber consolidation spreads, a world that has no secrets becomes a prison of controlled inmates. Artificial Intelligence replaces the experience of a lifetime of living with the matrix of precise acceptable behavior for future generations.

Learning how to Trust, love and fear: The seven stages of your future relationship with AI, might seem bizarre, but who would believe that the social networks would occupy so much public time at the turn of the last century? Using tools to enhance communication is certainly valid, but engulfing oneself into a virtual trance of manufactured perceptibility is distinct from living real life.

Is it any wonder that society is racing to demolish its social norms and with their demise, all semblance of Personal Utopias is destroyed? Look only to the wisdom of the Bard of Avon to understand the most naturalistic way to attain a consequential personal relationship.

As Prospero proclaims in Shakespeare’s ‘The Tempest’: “We are such stuff as dreams are made on, and our little life is rounded with a sleep.” The ‘stuff’ Prospero refers to is not merely the object of a wish, but the materials of illusion. Think about it inside and outside your own personal utopia, whatever that may be. You may find there is a greater happiness to be found by understanding the materials of illusion rather than the relying on the wishes that your personal utopia promises. In the final analysis, we all have our own personal vision but have a shared illusion. Maybe this is a better way to connect in meaningful ways for relationships, self and the quest for knowledge. Consider it…

Society was built upon the core family relationship of father, mother and children. Now the virtual environment treats the various names of man and woman with disdain. Soon children will be spit out of a 3d creature producing machine. Will Future Robots be able to give Birth to Their Own Children? and making a humanoid genetic copy may well become the ultimate social network app. Imagine that the terms of service will require surrender of your offspring’s DNA so that the newly government regulated tech web has total omniscience over their subjects.

At that point personal relationships will become moot. The only kinship that would matter is the one that Big Brother dictates to their look-alike computer clones that place all their intimate thoughts and aspirations in the cloud for official scrutiny. This is the phylogenies of social networks.

We Should Bring Back These 8 Old Fashioned Dating Habits might not be the answer to put human authenticity back into relationships, but social networks need to counteract against virtual isolation. Ditch the tracking phone and attend social barbecues. You might be surprised that interaction with a real person might improve your personal relationships.

Nevada sheriff violates YouTuber’s constitutional rights for live-streaming Area 51 employee bus, Youtube censors feed

Wed, 2018-04-18 09:44
Even though the Extraterrestrial Highway and surrounding tourist attractions draw thousands to the Nevada desert yearly, the sheriff of Lincoln County doesn’t like it when people film the Area 51 bus

LINCOLN COUNTY, Nev. (INTELLIHUB) — A father and his daughter were conducting a live-streaming report about a parked Area 51 Groom Lake facility bus when a local sheriff appeared on the scene where he threatened the duo for filming government property in a public lot Wednesday evening.

“Now you guys will see how strange things are around here,” the man told his viewers who were watching the live broadcast on the Explore With Us channel as the sheriff pulled up.

The hot-headed and unfit sheriff told the girl who was holding the camera to “turn it off” as he stepped out of his vehicle.

“You are going to turn it off,” the sheriff told the girl who was holding the camera in a stern voice.

“Um, I don’t have to turn it off,” the girl replied. “I’ve complied. I’ve moved the camera away from you.”

Again, the sheriff stated: “You’re going to turn it off.”

“You know we have a thousand people that are watching right now, you can’t tell people to just turn it off,” the girl explained.

“You’re suspicious subjects, I don’t know who you are you’re on government property, you need to turn it off,” the sheriff said, despite the fact that all three of them were standing on public property at the time.

“There is no law that says I have to turn off a stream,” the girl asserted before the controlling officer told her to place her camera on top of the vehicle.

Eventually, the officer apologized for coming off so strong and told the two that they were free to go.

According to the girl, the officer also broke her camera gimbal during the altercation.

It appears the sheriff of Lincoln County literally works hand-in-hand with Area 51.

Moreover, the Youtubers claim that their original live-stream was taken down by YouTube.

U.S. claims Russia ‘hacked’ Syrian attack evidence, after Russia finds rebel chemical weapons facility

Tue, 2018-04-17 13:50

Update: Interfax reports that the Russian military has discovered a rebel-owned chemical weapons lab in Douma.

The Russian Defense Ministry says that components for Mustard Gas production were discovered along with cylinders of chlorine at a alb belonging to militants in Douma.

Additionally, Moscow has said it is stunned by a French statement that Russia is obstructing OPCW experts from entering Syria’s Douma (echoing Ambassador Ward’s). the Russian foreign  ministry confirms OPCW expoerts are already in Douma.

*  *  *

And on the game goes…

While Russia’s foreign ministry warns that Western powers are interfering with OPCW’s work in Syria (noting that the chemical weapons experts’ access to Douma is being hampered by remaining militants, supported by Washington), as Caitlin Johnstone details, we are now being told by US officials (and I assure you I am not making this up) that if the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons doesn’t find evidence that the Syrian government conducted a chemical weapons attack in Douma last week, it’s because Russia hid the evidence.

“It is our understanding the Russians may have visited the attack site,” reports U.S. Ambassador Kenneth Ward.

“It is our concern that they may have tampered with it with the intent of thwarting the efforts of the OPCW Fact-Finding Mission to conduct an effective investigation.”

Via Caitlin Johnstone,

I guess the idea is that this international top-level investigative team on which tremendous credibility has been placed by the western world can be thwarted by Russians showing up with a Hoover and spraying some Febreze in the air like a teenage stoner when mom comes home? I’m not sure, but given the immense dearth of evidence we’ve been seeing in support of the establishment Douma narrative and the mounting pile of evidence contradicting it, it sure does sound fishy.

Now that the jihadist-occupied suburb of Douma has been retaken by the Syrian government, western journalists have been allowed in to poke around and start asking questions, and so far it isn’t looking great for the propaganda machine.

The Independent‘s Robert Fisk has published a report which affirms the storyso many westerners have been dismissing as Kremlin propaganda for days now after interviewing a doctor from the hospital of the area where the Douma attack was supposed to have occurred. Dr Assim Rahaibani told Fisk that what was in actuality an outbreak of respiratory distress among occupants of a dusty oxygen-deprived tunnel was made to look like the aftereffects of a chemical weapons attack when a member of the White Helmets started shouting about a gas attack in front of a bunch of video cameras. Everyone panicked and started hosing themselves down, but in the video, according to Rahaibani, “what you see are people suffering from hypoxia — not gas poisoning.”

This report was independently backed up by a reporter from One America News Network named Pearson Sharp, who gave a detailed account of his interviews with officials, doctors, as well as many civilians on the street Sharp says he deliberately selected at random in order to avoid accusations of bias. Many people hadn’t even heard that a chemical weapons attack had taken place, and the ones who had said it was staged by Jaysh al-Islam. The staff at the hospital, including a medic-in-training who was an eyewitness to the incident, gave the same story as the account in Fisk’s report.

Trump is assembling an Arab army to replace US troops in Syria

Tue, 2018-04-17 09:18

The Trump administration is hoping to secure a commitment from a handful of Middle Eastern states to assemble what is effectively an Arab army for a permanent military “stabilizing force” in Syria that would replace the U.S. military deployment in Syria and overthrow Assad prevent ISIS from regaining lost territory in Syria’s battle-ravaged east.

According to the Wall Street Journal, Trump’s new neocon National Security Advisor John Bolton, only in his second week on the job, has discussed the possibility of contributing troops with Egypt’s top intelligence official – allegedly one of the most influential figures in Egypt’s military-led regime.

And while full-scale commitments from Egypt and a handful of Gulf states remain elusive, should Trump succeed, he’d be able to tout a victory in an area where President Obama failed. Indeed, the Obama administration sought similar troop contributions from Syria’s neighbors but came up empty handed.

The Trump administration is seeking to assemble an Arab force to replace the U.S. military contingent in Syria and help stabilize the northeastern part of the country after the defeat of Islamic State, U.S. officials said.

John Bolton, President Donald Trump’s new national security adviser, recently called Abbas Kamel, Egypt’s acting intelligence chief, to see if Cairo would contribute to the effort, officials said.

The initiative comes as the administration has asked Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates to contribute billions of dollars to help restore northern Syria. It wants Arab nations to send troops as well, officials said.

Details about the initiative, which haven’t been previously disclosed, have emerged in the days since the U.S.-led strikes on sites associated with the Syrian regime’s chemical-weapons capabilities.

The security force would have two goals: stop ISIS from reestablishing a presence in Syria, while also stopping Iran or Iranian-backed sources from doing the same (though Israel already has the latter pretty well under control).

While on Monday the White House refuted claims by French President Emmanuel Macron that he “convinced” Trump to agree to an extended US presence in Syria, it has been forced to concede that the US has no immediate plans to pull US troops from Syria, as President Trump recently promised. Raising an army of troops from regional neighbors would allow the Trump administration the best of both worlds: It could safely pull some or all of its troops while ensuring that the region remains protected.

Trump first alluded to his push to recruit regional partners on Friday, as he was launching the missile strikes. Indeed, the plan to recruit regional partners came about following Trump’s insistence that the US pull out as quickly as possible.

Mr. Trump, who has expressed growing impatience with the cost and duration of the effort to stabilize Syria, alluded to the push on Friday night, when he announced the missile strikes.

“We have asked our partners to take greater responsibility for securing their home region, including contributing larger amounts of money,” Mr. Trump said.

In early April, Mr. Trump spoke about the need to speed the withdrawal of the 2,000 troops the U.S. has in Syria, a position at odds with many top advisers who worry that leaving the country too soon would cede ground to Iran, Russia, their proxies or other extremist groups. The new administration initiative is aimed at avoiding a security vacuum in Syria that would allow Islamic State to return or ceding hard-won gains to Iranian-backed forces in the country.

The US has reached out to Egypt and the Gulf States, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE. Of course, one “Middle East expert” quoted by WSJ claimed that defeating Islamic State in Syria remains a challenge while assembling a fighting force consisting of Arab troops would face certain challenges.

Charles Lister, a senior fellow at the Middle East Institute, said that assembling a new force would be a challenge because Saudi Arabia and the U.A.E. are involved militarily in Yemen, and Egypt would be reluctant to defend territory that wasn’t controlled by the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.

Nor, he said, would Arab states be eager to send forces to Syria if the U.S. military didn’t agree to keep some troops there.

“There is just no precedent or established basis for this shaping into a successful strategy,” he said.

And many questions remain about whether the U.S. military would maintain some involvement in executing such a plan. U.S. troops in Syria, and the Kurdish and Arab fighters they work with, have been protected by American air power. It remains unclear what role, if any, U.S. warplanes might play and who would call in airstrikes if they were needed by a future Arab force.

“It has to be strong enough to face down Assad or Iran if either seeks to reclaim territory, perhaps with Russia’s help,” said Michael O’Hanlon of the Brookings Institution, referring to the new force.

Other complications: the Arab troops would be expected to cooperate with US-backed forces like the Kurds and other groups (some of which have extremist views) already operating in Syria. It also remains unclear what role the US airforce would play. Furthermore, the US-backed force would need to counter Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad if he tries to claw back some of his lost territory with the help of Russia or Iran.

Estimates vary, but it’s believed that between 5,000 and 12,000 Islamic State fighters are still operating in eastern Syria.

Erik Prince, the founder of security firm Blackwater USA and the brother of Betsy Devos, told WSJ that he’s been contacted by Arab officials about building a security force that would operate in Syria, but that these countries are waiting to see what Trump will do. Egypt’s willingness to support a fighting force is also far from clear. It has enough on its hands battling ISIS-linked militants in the Northern Sinai Peninsula, who late last year carried out one of the deadliest attacks in the region when they killed more than 300 people at a Mosque. Egypt has rarely deployed troops abroad since the country sent more than 30,000 soldiers to join the American-led coalition fighting Iraq in the 1991 Gulf War. Its government has also occasionally made comments supporting the regime in Damascus. Even if countries didn’t want to send troops, they could help in other ways by supplying money, logistics support or military training.

Saudi Arabia and the UAE have already helped pay stipends for US-backed fighters, not to mention directly fund the very Islamic State terrorists that the US is allegedly fighting. And Trump has already asked his Saudi friends to contribute $4 billion to restoring areas of Syria once held by ISIS; so far they have been rather quiet, perhaps hoping to IPO Aramco before committing what is hardly pocket change to fighting their own war.

To be sure, Russia’s response is pending. Perhaps Putin will decide to respond in kind and invite Chinese troops in Syria as part of his own “multinational” response to oppose any new Arab army, assuring that any attacks in the war-torn nation guarantee a new world war.

U.S. missile defense systems rendered useless after Russians develop superior and unstoppable nuclear weaponry

Mon, 2018-04-16 09:49

During Russian President Vladimir Putin’s State of the Union Address last month, the Eastern leader told attendees that global missile defense systems have been rendered useless as the Russian military has already developed and implemented new and improved nuclear missile technologies on the battlefield which outfox, outperform, and outrun, current U.S. and allied force technologies, rendering the U.S. and other countries sitting ducks.

One of the most intriguing weapons recently developed by the Russians is a nuclear hyper-sonic cruise missile which boasts an unlimited range and great maneuvering characteristics which reportedly allow it to out perform enemy countermeasures.

“It has unlimited range so it can keep going like this forever,” the Russian president stated during last months demonstration. ‘It can maneuver to avoid defense barriers.’

CBC News reports:

The Russian leader said the high-speed underwater drone also has an “intercontinental” range and is capable of carrying a nuclear warhead that could target both aircraft carriers and coastal facilities. He said its “very big” operational depth and a speed that is at least 10 times higher than any other vessel would make it immune to enemy interception.

Putin accompanied his statement to an audience of hundreds of senior officials and lawmakers with videos and computer images of new weapons, which were shown on giant screens at a conference hall near the Kremlin.

‘Like a meteorite’

The Russian leader said that another new weapon called Avangard is an intercontinental hypersonic missile that would fly to targets at a speed 20 times the speed of sound and strike “like a meteorite, like a fireball.”

Putin said that the weapon is capable of performing sharp manoeuvres on its way to targets, making it “absolutely invulnerable for any missile defence system.”

Although Putin made it clear Russia has no intention to attack or bully any one county now that Russia possesses superior technology, the mere thought that the U.S. has been rendered defenseless is concerning.

Now that Russia possesses superior missile technologies which can pierce global defense systems, how will all of this play out on the world stage?

Now that #Russia possesses superior #missile #technologies which can pierce #global #defensesystems, how will all of this play out on the #worldstage?

Syria, chemicals weapons and missile strikes: FAKE NEWS theater at its finest… you are being subjected to an elaborate psyop

Mon, 2018-04-16 09:44

By now, you are aware that President Trump ordered a “precision strike” against Syria’s so-called “chemical weapon sites” run by Assad. The strike was deployed in response to an utterly false, absurd narrative that claims Assad gassed children with chemical weapons.

Beware of any news about an event that reportedly involves the deaths of children. In nearly every major false flag event — from the USA to the Middle East — children are used as props to generate “emotional terrorism” outrage as a form of social manipulation in order to achieve a political purpose. This doesn’t mean real children didn’t die, by the way. As I’ve explained numerous times, a “false flag” event involves real deaths wrapped around a fake narrative. Real children died in Syria, just as they did in the Oklahoma City bombing. But the official stories we’re told about why those children died are complete hogwash.

Remember when we were told that David Koresh burned his entire family alive?

We’ve seen this countless times in recent history, including going all the way back to the federal government’s murderous assault on the David Koresh compound in Waco, Texas, in 1993. The assault was nothing less than a murderous rampage by rogue government agents who murdered women and children in cold blood, yet the “official” story was that David Koresh set fire to his own buildings and murdered his entire family by burning them alive. (Seriously. That’s what the media still wants you to believe.)

The explanation that Assad gassed his own citizen children with chemical weapons is similarly absurd. You’d have to be a complete stooge to believe it. In an article entitled, “Ten Days Before The End Of The World,” written on April 12th, Paul Craig Roberts writes:

The criminally insane governments of the US, UK, and France are sending a flotilla of missile ships, submarines, and an aircraft carrier to attack Syria in the face of Russian warnings. What is the likely outcome of this outrageous act of aggression based entirely on an orchestrated and transparent lie, an act of reckless aggression that is more irresponsible and more dangerous than anything done by the demonized Nazi regime in Germany?

…we are left with the dangerous situation that some elements in the US and UK governments were able to orchestrate two events—the alleged Skripal poisoning and the alleged Assad chemical attack—and use the events to leverage unsupported accusations against Russia and Syria as justifications for an illegal military attack on a sovereign country. That such an outrageous orchestration is possible proves that there is no democracy or constraint on government in the US and UK.

When the entire corporate-run media gets behind the “official” narrative, you know it’s fake news

The fact that the entire legacy media is parroting the same pro-war explanation — including Fox News, Sean Hannity and CNN, in unison — is further proof that it’s all a huge lie. Somebody gassed children in Syria, but it wasn’t Assad. He’s the scapegoat, of course, and the pure bulls##t we’re hearing from the media right now sounds almost exactly like the “yellow cake” nuclear fuel hoax that former President Bush used to justify an invasion of Iraq (which was really all about controlling oil fields and had nothing to do with 9/11 or “yellow cake” nuclear fuel). Remember Weapons of Mass Destruction? It was all an intelligence hoax. The evidence was fabricated out of thin air, yet dutifully reported as “fact” by the entire media.

It’s entirely possible that President Trump is not part of this conspiracy and he’s just being fed deliberately false intelligence as a way of manipulating him into these pro-war actions. That’s the specialty of the intelligence community: Manipulating “evidence” to justify whatever insane globalist actions they wish to pursue next. We don’t yet know whether Trump is in the loop on this. He may be the target of deception efforts from the intelligence community (i.e. the deep state).

The gullible public believes almost anything they’re told by the media, of course, as most people have completely lost any ability to think critically about any issue at all. So the public rallies behind the lie, weeping for the deaths of children that were obviously staged for emotional manipulation purposes, thinking they’re “humanitarian” in supporting escalating acts of war that may lead us all straight to Hell via World War III.

These narratives are scripted to deliberately bypass rational thought and invoke irrational, emotional reactions

This is how the deep state engineers the scripts of history and manipulates public perception to support outrageous acts of aggression and war against their targeted enemies.

“Fake news theater at its finest,” as I say. Because when globalists want to carry out some heinous act of war and aggression, some children are going to have to die first so that the proper narrative can be marketed to the public for the express purpose of generating the appropriate emotional reaction.

Always remember: When children start dying, you are being manipulated into supporting something that your rational mind would otherwise question. The use of dead children — whether in Syria or U.S. school shootings — is a deliberate element of problem-reaction-solution manipulation to make sure that no rational thinking can interfere with the desired “mob rule” reaction.

In essence, the best way to understand all this is that the use of dead children nullifies logic and reason, and that’s precisely the point. If people think rationally about the risks associated with escalating a Syrian conflict toward World War III with the Russians, it makes no sense at all. Only irrational, emotionally manipulated people would be dumbfounded enough to support such a deranged act.

I repeat the words of Paul Craig Roberts:

The criminally insane governments of the US, UK, and France are sending a flotilla of missile ships, submarines, and an aircraft carrier to attack Syria in the face of Russian warnings. What is the likely outcome of this outrageous act of aggression based entirely on an orchestrated and transparent lie, an act of reckless aggression that is more irresponsible and more dangerous than anything done by the demonized Nazi regime in Germany?

Stay informed and get prepared. Everything changes from this point forward. Read for daily coverage of geopolitics, war and survival.

Nuclear attack on D.C. would kill 280,000 in 48 hours: Scientists

Mon, 2018-04-16 08:53
Researchers develop computer model of how chaos would unfold

Amidst heightening tensions between the United States and Russia, researchers at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University have developed a computer model that predicts at least 280,000 people would die within 48 hours if a nuclear bomb went off in Washington DC.

The scientists developed the program to predict the behavior of every individual in the city to help the government plan its emergency response. They discovered that a nuke exploding at ground level in DC would destroy a city block and then shatter buildings for a mile in every direction. In the first scenario, people who did nothing and refused to evacuate would be immediately exposed to radiation, leaving 279,020 dead in 48 hours.

Given the utter and total dependence of people living in cities, one can imagine that this would be the most likely outcome.

The study found that the best course of action was to take shelter immediately after the explosion before attempting to flee and seek health care.

However, the simulation also found that many people would expose themselves to deadly radiation by trying to physically locate loved ones and family members. The researchers emphasized that it would be vital for the government to maintain cellphone service to prevent this from happening.

While the world is (hopefully) a long way off nuclear armageddon, tensions between the United States and Russia over Syria are growing.

Professor emeritus of Russian studies at Princeton University and New York University Stephen Cohen told Tucker Carlson last night, “I am more worried than I have ever been in my life,” about a nuclear confrontation with Russia.

Ex-FBI Director Comey: Trump ‘morally unfit’ to be president

Mon, 2018-04-16 08:11

Intellihub editor’s note: Statements made James Comey on ABC’s 20/20 reveal the former FBI Director is a hypocrite. The fact of the matter is, Comey has been involved in the cover up of every major terror attack since the Oklahoma City Bombing. He is as dirty as they get.

Former FBI Director James Comey has accused US President Donald Trump of being “morally unfit” for the presidency and treating women like “pieces of meat” in his first television interview since being fired last year.

Speaking to ABC’s 20/20 programme, Comey said: “The challenge of this president is that he will stain everyone around him”.

The television interview on Sunday comes ahead of the release of Comey’s book, A Higher Loyalty, on Tuesday.
