Child ‘Victim’ Of Alleged Syrian Gas Attack Speaks Out, Says He Was Given Food To Make The Video

In the weeks since the alleged chemical weapons attack in Douma, Syria, evidence contradicting the official story continues to surface.

This week, journalists on the ground in Syria recorded interviews with some of the people who were there for the alleged attacks – people who actually appeared in the video that was shared widely by Syrian rebels associated with the White Helmets on April 7th, provoking attacks from the United States Military and its allies.

One of the most compelling interviews was with an 11-year-old boy named Hassan Diab who can be clearly matched with one of the victims in the video. Fortunately, the young boy is safe and in good health, and suffered no chemical attack symptoms, but he is surely traumatized and confused by what he experienced.

Hassan told Russian journalist Evgeny Poddubny that he was walking the streets with his mother in search of food, when one of the people that they encountered insisted that they go to the hospital.

“Somebody was shouting that we had to go to the hospital, so we went there. When I came in, some people grabbed me and started pouring water over my head,”  Hassan said.

Imagine being a young hungry child walking into a hospital expecting to find some food, only to be grabbed by strangers and soaked with water along with dozens of other children, all the while being surrounded with lights and cameras.

The boy was eventually found by his father, who said that he saw no evidence of a chemical attack.

“I didn’t hear anything about the chemical attack, I was outside but didn’t hear anything. I heard that my family was in the hospital. I went to the hospital, walked upstairs, and found my wife and children. I asked them what had happened, and they said people outside were shouting about some smell and told them to go to the hospital. At the hospital, they gave dates and cookies to the kids,” he said.

While it would be possible that a child walking the streets could get mixed up with actual victims in the midst of the chaos that takes place after this type of incident, even the doctors at the hospital that encountered these victims didn’t see evidence of a chemical attack.

One doctor told reporters that they saw victims who were hurt and killed in bombings that were regularly taking place in the city, but no trace of chemical agents.

“People from the White Helmets told us about the use of chemical weapons, but we saw no sign of that. If chemical weapons were used against those people, our medical staff would have also been affected, he said.

After the video was published on Thursday, Russia’s UN envoy Vassily Nebenzia told Rossiya 1 that Moscow is planning to show the video about Hassan at the next meeting of the UN Security Council.

Two other alleged witnesses say that they were working at the hospital during the time of the attack, and they also did not see evidence of chemical agents.

“We heard an explosion and someone said it was a chemical weapon, we ran to where the noise came from and started pouring water over the people, but they seemed to be ok and then walked away with any help,” one witness said.

“People got so confused, someone started pouring water over peoples heads saying there had been a chemical attack, I was at the spot with my wife and daughter but neither of us experienced any symptoms of chemical poisoning,” another said.

Hassan’s story is very similar to that of Omran Daqneesh, a Syrian boy reportedly pulled from the rubble of a bombed out building. Daqneesh’s image was broadcast around the world and used as a propaganda tool against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The truth was later revealed by The Free Thought Project and others that it is highly likely the opposition itself destroyed the very building in which Daqneesh was residing, then used his image to promote the myth that he was attacked by Syrian forces.

According to The New York Times, Mr. Daqneesh told the real story of what happened immediately following the bombing. He never supported the opposition and appeared on Syrian state-run media to proclaim his support for Assad. He described how the White Helmets used his son as a propaganda tool without his permission.

”They took Omran, got him to the ambulance, where they filmed him. It was against my will. I was still upstairs in the house,” Mr. Daqneesh said, adding that he was pressured, and even offered money to use his son as a pawn in propaganda against the Assad regime.

As we reported this week, even the western mainstream media is beginning to question the official story. World-renowned journalist Robert Fisk pointed out that there was no actual evidence for these attacks, aside from videos from the White Helmets, a group that is notorious for creating propaganda.

Becoming One With The Wave — The Ascension

Here I put forward my answers to the questions: What is Consciousness? What is Spirituality?

This is MY truth. An outline of MY discoveries so far on my quest as a spiritual scientist.

Where to begin?

Oh I know…First there was the word, and that word was…AUM!

From nothingness, came energy. AUM is the very beat of the universe, and although it has many meanings, my favourites are Home and Love. More specifically I see it as an energy flow of totality, sound, existence and consciousness.

Then bang there was the separation, so that the great experience could begin. We could call life a play, a game maybe even a dance. You are the one breathing in life right now. You are the one experiencing the fullness of this very moment. It’s you and only ever you that knows your truth.

I’ve come to understand life as a human, is all about remembering who we are, not learning, that’s just how we experience it. We become what we are not, so that we can appreciate what we were, over and over again! Until we finally return to oneness, and the realisation clicks in that we are one, and always were.

We are going to talk about our world for now, but I’ll tell you that I have experienced so much more. I have visited other worlds, I have met other spiritual entities. We are not alone my friends.

Talking Consciousness:

Let’s consider our world to be a ball of energy; humans vibrate at a certain frequency, as does a mountain, as does an elephant, and so on. Then lets presume that our world consciousness is made up of electrical threads that bind us together. Creating a whole spectrum of conscious waves that pulsate at different frequencies depending on an individuals (either object or a beings) level of evolution.

The conscious footprint of one affects absolutely everyone else, and the evolution of our world is achieved by raising these energetic vibrations. Which until recently has not been advancing as much as we would like to think. For far too long we’ve been at war with one another over finite resources, in a means to fuel our technological enhancement. While in this state we have considered ourselves separate from one another and separate from nature.

We had forgotten that our world is a single energetic entity, completely dependant on every living being.

Life is sustained through balance. Nature and wildlife exist in perfect harmony, in the animal kingdom there is predator and prey, and just as similarly for plants, it all comes down to survival of the fittest. Levels of consciousness change based on the same theory. The fitter you are as a human, having a healthier diet, exercising and practising yoga, the more aligned to the natural order of life you become.

As you become more aware of the interconnectedness of it all, you start to see how dependant we are on every single life form and ecosystem. Then you start to act in the knowing that by protecting, and helping to rebuild and grow our natural environment, you are in fact giving back life to yourself and fellow human beings.

Let’s look at our daily energy intake:

Plants and trees breathe life into us and are our primary food source. If you break it down to the basics, we eat food for fuel for the body, directly for energy. Animals, our meat, get their energy from plants, or chemically enhanced bio products which offer a synthesised alternative to plant energy. Therefore in order to get the highest energetic absorption rate from your meal it’s best to go to source, the plant.

Here’s a little food for thought: Our plants get their energy from the sun, so it’s actually sunlight that sustains us as a direct source of energy, but let’s not go down that road just yet.

I like to think of consciousness as a process of ascension. As you raise your own energetic presence, you connect with more and more waves of pulsating energy, fuelling your growth. The higher that you go, the more attuned you become to universal energy. Yes, I’m talking about energy that comes from outside of our world.

Conscious connectivity means, extra sensory perception, the ability to transfer your conscious state to other worlds, travelling the aether in a dream state, telepathically communicating with beings around earth and beyond. You can learn to heal your own bodies with concentrated thought patterns. Obviously I’m not talking about repairing broken bones here, although you never know, the only way is up as far as I see it.

These are the general benefits related to becoming more consciously attuned to universal energy:

Improved well being, reduction in hostility, increased psychic activity, inner calmness, increased respect for life, increased intelligence and memory retention, increased wisdom and an understanding of life and what comes after…

Those of us that tend to connect with higher levels of consciousness are currently incorporating mindfulness practises into their daily routine. They’ve started to live healthier lifestyles, their diets are changing, organic options are sort after, and consumption of sugar is cut down if not cut out completely.

They appreciate regular exercise as a natural part of their day. They’ve even started to choose work environments where they can find balance between material gain and stimulating creative projects, thus allowing to mediate levels of stress whilst maintaining productive levels of engagement.

Just look at the world around you, vegan restaurants and shops are pretty much everywhere, people want organically produced products. Not just the ones labelled so in big supermarkets, people are researching for their own local produce. Particularly farms and local markets where you don’t need a label or even packaging because you can see it has been taken straight from the earth, and is ready for your plate just as nature intended.

Generally the further up the conscious ladder, people have started to appreciate meditation and yoga, the union of the mind, body and spirit. The pleasure of being in ones own company and the deep power found in stillness. The realisation that there is nothing outside of an individuals state of being, and that by searching within you realise yourself as a master of the universe. At this point you have overcome the fears that constrain us to a lifetime, and you realise the glory and harmony found in co-creation.

At present there is an awakening of consciousness around us, and as this shift continues you’ll notice our world affairs become no longer about nation versus nation, but about human being acknowledging his neighbour in unity. Through that union we will start to redistribute the resources of our world out fairly, and most importantly consciously attuned with the natural harmony of our environment.

Ok, ok, so I’m an idealist, we’ve got a little way to go yet. But not as long as you might think. Did you know that Nelson Mandela set up a foundation of Elders, former world leaders from different nations, whom are now working together with our current leaders to set about affairs of our very species as a whole.

You may call me mad, but watch this space, we will have a world government, and everyone’s voice will be heard. Do you know why?

Because we are currently living through a great wave of conscious ascension.

The golden age has arrived. God consciousness is currently pumping through the life-force that sustains us all. Our very Earth has it’s own conscious vibrational field, which it is using to harmonise all the destruction we have reaped upon it. As an example, for all the plastic and toxic waste that we have dumped into the Ocean, bacteria has started to grow that can consume a portion of this waste, and that’s just the beginning.

This wave is affecting us all, we are a major part of this change. You are the creator, your actions and choices impact everything. Awake to this, and marvel in a consciously connected world, where we are one, united in nature.

I’ve told you my version of consciousness, now I’ll give you my insight on spirituality. In short, it’s breaking through the illusion of separateness, and realising that you are a spiritual being having a life experience.

We’ve all had the time to consider what comes after death and take a guess at where our soul will venture when we pass. Well my version is this: there is one soul, call it Energy or God, my favourite though is Love, but then I am the hopeful romantic after all!

Spirituality is therefore just coming to the realisation and discovery of your own chosen life experience, this time around. You can probably tell that I’m a believer in reincarnation here. No death, just transmutation of energy into another state. No biblical heaven or hell. Just the next life experience, new revelations for you to live through, new aspects of your grander self to remember. An evolutionary process designed for us to personally grow and mature within.

My own personal experience of spirituality has been a path of enlightenment, which is just that, a journey to lighten the energetic and more specifically, karmic baggage that we hold onto as an individual.

I’m Free

I’ll go just one step further: Jesus, Buddha and Gandhi were exactly this, enlightened individuals. All that went on spiritual quests of self discovery and then spread their experiences and wisdom with the world. For we are all sons and daughters of God.

God to me is everything; it’s energy, it’s love, it’s a pebble lying unnoticed on the side of a road. But the experience of being with God, dancing with God, and realising your own divine potential is a very different thing.

The trick to it all, is to live a joy filled purposeful lifestyle. To dream big, and accept nothing short of your highest potential. It’s the moments spent living your dreams that you remember your godliness, for at that point you have become the creator, and life becomes whatever you choose it to be.

I’ve been told I speak the word of God and of Jesus in my dreams. I’ve even been anointed in a temple as a shepherd of the people. It’s these experiences that I use to justify passing this message of God to you. My role is exactly that, to be the light and the way. I enrich my own life and energetic presence through love, the sharing of my knowledge, and of course my truth.

You may not see the world quite as I do at the moment, but this really is how I view the world to be. I’m an incredibly positive individual, and when you choose to look at every moment with positive relish instead of negative disdain you’ll also have learnt to enlighten the soul.

If you are in pain right now, you can choose to trust that all is unfolding for your highest good, and the good of the universe. You can choose to surrender to the notion that this pain you are experiencing, the emotional heartache, frustrations and confusion has all been chosen by you, by your highest self. The self that has seen all that is to come for you, that is beyond time and space, and knows, from great suffering comes great wisdom.

Just trust that you have chosen to live here and now, that your soul wished to experience and enjoy this version of life. For you to contribute this exact verse of your existence to the never-ending story.

Here’s a little advise that has helped me to get through some of the more difficult moments on this path, from Neale Donald Walsch, in his second book, Conversations with GOD:

“Consider life, this moment, the exact way you feel about everything. The greatest gift, from the kindest creator.”

That’s just where I’m at in life, and it’s taken years of devotion, practise and patience to feel this way and say these things. But if you’re ready for the journey, it’s my joy and privilege to tell you more. I am a shepherd of the people, the light and the way, follow me and embrace heaven on earth.

Final Note:

I can’t stress enough that God, Energy, Love, your Life, is exactly one thing. Your own interpretation of it. What I have written here is a document of my own experiences, the visions and the messages that come through from my dreams and all that I see in the world around me. But above all it is an insight into my life, and my choice on how to live it.

The Greatest Spiritual Event Of Our Time According To Rudolph Steiner

Almost a hundred years ago, as if peering into a crystal ball and predicting the future, spiritual teacher and clairvoyant Rudolph Steiner[1] prophesied that the most momentous event of modern times was what he referred to as the incarnation of the etheric[2]Christ. By the “etheric Christ,”[3] Steiner is referring to a modern-day version of Christ’s resurrection body, which can be conceived of as being a creative, holy and whole-making spirit that is inspiring human evolution as it operates upon the body of humanity through the collective unconscious of our species. Involving a radically new understanding of a timeless spiritual event, the etheric Christ, instead of incarnating in full-bodied physical form, is approaching via the realm of spirit—as close as this immaterial spirit can get to the threshold of the third-dimensional physical world without incarnating in materialized form. To quote Steiner, “Christ’s life will be felt in the souls of men more and more as a direct personal experience from the twentieth century onwards.”[4]

A spiritual event of the highest order, Steiner felt that the incarnation of the etheric Christ is “the most sublime human experience possible”[5] and “the greatest turning point in human evolution.”[6] The etheric Christ is a nonlocal, atemporal spirit, existing outside of space and time, that is simultaneously immersed in, infused with—and expressing itself through—events in our world. The etheric Christ reveals itself for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear as it weaves itself, not only through the warp and woof of the flow of events comprising history, but through our souls as well.

To quote Steiner, “in the future we are not to look on the physical plane for the most important events but outside it, just as we shall have to look for Christ on His return as etheric form in the spiritual world.”[7] The most important spiritual events of any age often remain hidden from the eyes of those who are entranced in a materialistic conception of the world. It greatly behooves us to not sleep through, but rather, to consciously bear witness to what has been up until now taking place mostly unconsciously, subtly hidden beneath the mundane consciousness of our species. If this epochal spiritual event, to quote Steiner, “were to pass unnoticed, humanity would forfeit its most important possibility for evolution, thus sinking into darkness and eventual death.”[8] If the deeper spiritual process of the incarnation of the etheric Christ is not understood, this potentially liberating process transforms into its opposite (into the demonic).

Steiner felt that the advent of the etheric Christ—the Parousia (the Second Coming)—was the greatest mystery of our time. He was of the opinion that the incarnation of the etheric Christ was the deeper spiritual process that is in-forming and giving shape to the current multi-faceted crises (and opportunities) that humanity presently faces. This is to say that the seemingly never-ending wars and conflicts that are taking place all over the globe are the shadows cast by spiritual events from a higher-dimension that are animating earthly happenings. One of the main reasons that these multiple crises are so dangerous is because their deeper spiritual source remains unrecognized.

The higher order of light encoded within the etheric Christ is bringing to light the darkness which is seemingly opposed to it, which further helps its light nature to be seen. The true radiance of the light can only be seen and appreciated in contrast to the depth of darkness it illumines. It is as if the revelation of something is through its opposite—just as darkness is known through light, light is known through darkness. A fundamental spiritual principle of creation itself appears to be that when one force—e.g., light—begins to emerge in the universe a counterforce, opposed to the first, arises at that same moment. Just as shadows belong to light, these light and dark powers are interrelated, reciprocally co-arising, inseparably contained within and expressions of a single deeper unifying process. In essence, spirit is incarnating, and it is revealing itself through the very darkness that it is making visible.

Commenting on the other—and less recognized—half of the Second Coming, Steiner chillingly said, “before the Etheric Christ can be properly understood by people, humanity must have passed through the encounter with the Beast.”[9] By “the Beast” he means the apocalyptic beast,[10] the radically evil. The Beast is the guardian of the threshold through which we must pass in order to meet the lighter, celestial and heavenly part of our nature.

As soon as I read Steiner’s prophecy I felt the truth of his words. I recognized how what Steiner was saying mapped onto—and created context for—what is happening in our current world-gone-crazy. I also recognized the truth of what Steiner was saying based on my own inner experience. I have noticed that as I get closer to connecting with the light within myself, the forces of darkness seem to become more active and threatening. It is as if there is something in me—and in everyone, which is to say this situation isn’t personal—that desperately doesn’t want us to recognize and step into our light. This internal process is taking place within the subjectivity of countless individual human psyches, which is then reflexively being collectively acted out—in my language, “dreamed up”—en masse in, as and through the outside world.

In his prophecy, Steiner is pointing out that our encounter with the Beast is initiatory, a portal that—potentially—introduces us to the Christ figure. To quote Steiner, “Through the experience of evil it will be possible for the Christ to appear again.”[11] It is noteworthy that the opposites are appearing together: coinciding with the peak of evil is an inner development which makes it possible for the etheric Christ—who is always present and available[12]—to be seen and felt as a guiding presence that can thereby become progressively more embodied in humans, both individually and collectively as a whole species. In the extreme of one of the opposites is the seed for the birth of the other.[13] Speaking of the power of the etheric Christ, Steiner said, “When this power has permeated the soul, it drives away the soul’s darkness.”[14]

The brightest, most radiant and luminous light simultaneously casts and calls forth the darkest shadows. Through this process of Christ manifesting in the etheric realm, humanity is exposed to evil in a way never before experienced, such that—in potential—we may be able to find the good and the holy in a more real and tangible way than was previously possible. Humanity’s highest virtues and potentialities are activated and called forth when confronted by evil. Evil, according to Steiner, though by definition diametrically opposed to the good, is—paradoxically—a catalyst for bringing the power of goodness to the fore.

It is an archetypal idea that ascending towards the light always necessitates a confrontation with and descent into the darkness. Evil, according to Steiner, co-emerges with the possibility of humanity’s freedom, as if God could not create true freedom for humanity without providing a choice for evil. To quote Steiner, “In order for human beings to attain to full use of their powers of freedom, it is absolutely necessary that they descend to the low levels in their world conception as well as in their life.”[15] From Steiner’s point of view, evil is created by and for freedom, and it is only through the conscious exercise of freedom of choice—which evil itself challenges us to develop—by which it can be overcome.

The mystery of humanity’s higher nature is inseparable from the mystery of evil. It is beyond debate that in our current age we are called to deal with evil—only those who choose to stay asleep, or are overly identified with the light (and hence, project out and dissociate from their own darkness) are blind to this. No realization of the light would ever occur without first getting to know its opposite. Whoever wants to support the sacred must be able to protect it and we can only do so when we know the forces that oppose it.

Evil, however, has an intense desire to remain incognito, below the radar, as its power to wreak havoc is dependent on not being recognized. Paradoxically, it is only by knowing the Beast in ourselves that we become truly human. Recognizing the depth of evil within ourselves helps us to develop the inner capacity to stand free of it, and in so doing, become acquainted with the part of ourselves that is beyond evil’s reach, thus enabling us to establish ourselves as free, sovereign and independent beings. It is to our advantage to know that our worst adversary resides in our own heart, rather than falling for the all-to-common delusion of thinking that our enemy is outside of ourselves.

If we become conscious of the evil within us, in our expansion of consciousness, that evil is promoting our spiritual development. We have then, through our realization, alchemically transmuted evil into a catalyst for our evolution. To quote Steiner, “The task of evil is to promote the ascent of the human being.”[16] The question naturally arises: if, as Steiner professes, freedom is actualized only through the existence of evil, is evil an expression of a higher intelligence, an aspect of the divine plan designed to bring about a higher form of good that couldn’t be actualized without its existence?

The sponsor of humanity’s evolution, the etheric Christ doesn’t give the answer, but inspires the question. Sometimes it’s more important to ask the right question than to find the right answer.

Is The US Using Lies To Justify Bombing Syria?

The mainstream media and government have lied in the past to justify war. This is evident in the stories about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq, which did not exist and humanitarian intervention in Libya, which led to chaos on Libyan soil.

Now the US and allies have launched a missile strike on Syria. The justification is that President Assad has been using chemical weapons on civilians. This has been questioned by many and is the topic of this Reality Check with Ben Swann.

A Poor Man Asked The Buddha “Why Am I So Poor?” This Was His Answer

A story has been circulating the internet accredited to the Buddha in which a poor man asks why he is in his situation. The allegorical story was answered in the typical Buddhist way and unfolded as follows.

A poor man asked Buddha ” Why am I so poor ?”

Buddha reply : “You are not giving enough”

Poor Man : “But I have nothing to give”

Buddha : “You have at least 5 things to give”

“Your Face: You can smile. Be joyful, cheerful and happy…

Your Mouth: You can speak words of kindness, encourage people, and give comfort…

Your Heart : You can open your heart to others, be sincere, truthful and kind…

Your Eyes : You can look to others with kindness and compassion…

You Body: You can use your own labor to help others.”

“See…. You are not poor at all. Poverty lives in our heart”

Sometimes it feels as if the situation we find ourselves in is the obstacle, but often the true obstacle is the one we place in front of ourselves. Stories like this may seem cliche and often circumstances can affect our lives in ways which are out of our control, however, it is always our reaction that dictates how preceding events unfold.

Over the weekend, the United States led a coordinated attack—along with French and British forces—on the sovereign country of Syria. These open source accounts were little more than videos and testimonies from groups such as the White Helmets—who have been known to create fake videos, support terrorists, and much more. 

To those paying attention to Syria, the White Helmets aiding or even participating in terrorism should come as no surprise and the retaliatory nature of these strikes plays right into the hands of terrorists. Indeed, political analysts are referring to the United States as the “ISIS Air Force.”

To put this into perspective, the United States, Britain, and France launched a coordinated act of war on a sovereign country, based on crimes for which they had almost no evidence, which could potentially be the catalyst for World War 3—and all of it was carried out under the ostensible auspices of humanitarianism.

While there is a tiny chance that Assad did actually release chemical weapons on his own people in order to drive out the remaining insurgents from Douma, it goes against all logic as it would provoke the actions which are now taking place—ensuring the rest of the country is invaded and turned to rubble by US-made missiles.

“The way the people that perpetuate these false flags [sic] say that Assad is gassing his own people, at the same time, he’s winning the war and the people are flocking back in to go to the territories that he has returned to the government of Syria,” explained former Congressman Ron Paul last week. “But, nevertheless, he’s out there gassing his own people, which makes no sense whatsoever and fewer and fewer people are believing this.”

To illustrate just how grotesque of a sham the attacks on Syria actually are, one need only look at the current atrocities being carried out by Israel and the utter lack of concern, media coverage, and political attention it is receiving.

As TFTP has reported, dozens of Palestinians have been killed and nearly 1,300 have been wounded by live fire and rubber bullets from the Israeli Military—just in the last few weeks—as protests have increased near the border, according to the Health Ministry in Gaza.

Palestinians claim that the protests are a symbol of their desire to speak out again Israel’s occupation of their land and control over their resources. Samer, 27, told the Jerusalem Post that he risked his life to join in the protests because he wanted to take a stand.

“Israel took everything from us, the homeland, freedom, our future,” Samer said. “I have two kids, a boy, and a girl, and if I die, God will take care of them.”

While Israel has falsely claimed that every man or teenage boy who participated in the protests was a “militant” for Hamas, and desrved to die, there was one civilian death that was particularly notable.

The Palestinian journalist Yaser Murtaja, who was shot in the chest by an Israeli sniper while wearing a vest marked “press” during the #FridayOfTires in Gaza, died last night. Yaser Murtaja, a Palestinian photojournalist, was wearing a jacket that clearly said “PRESS” when he was shot in the chest and killed by an Israeli sniper on Friday. As The Intercept noted, “Either the Israeli sniper could not clearly see who was in the rifle scope—in which case the claim that the use of live fire is precise is shown to be untrue—or the soldier intentionally fired at a journalist, which is a war crime.”

Israel has also been caught on video murdering innocent unarmed people and laughing about it.

Shocking footage also emerged online last month highlighting this brutal treatment of the Palestinian people by the Israeli government. In the video, police are seen throwing a stun grenade at a couple who is running away from them—holding a baby.

The video was taken by an activist for the Israeli human rights group, Yesh Den. In the short clip, the couple is seen fleeing to their home in the village of Burin as four Israeli officers approach them from behind. In spite of the couple posing no threat and holding a baby, one of the officers throws a stun grenade right at them.

But innocent journalists, babies, and random strangers aren’t the only ones being attacked by the state of Israel. The country is also reportedly actively spraying chemical weapons, in the form of toxic herbicides over the crops of innocent farmers.

While Israel claimed that it was just using its planes to get rid of weeds and extra grass along the border with Palestinian territory, Palestinian officials have criticized the interference.

“These chemicals cause damage to agricultural crops and harm farmlands. Israel has no right to spray herbicides on Palestinian farmlands,” Nizar al-Wahedi of the Palestinian Agriculture Ministry told the Anadolu Agency.

Unlike in Syria, we have documented evidence of actual murder, war crimes, and chemical weapons use and the US is not only silent on these atrocities but outspoken over their support for the state of Israel.

To be clear, no one here is advocating for the same action taken on Syria to be carried out on the state of Israel. Instead, this comparison is meant to expose the rife hypocrisy and the ulterior motive behind the war in Syria.

The fact is that conflicts in these countries are none of the United States’ business and pledging US tax dollars and lives to intervene in them is not only unconstitutional, but it creates far more conflict than already exists. 

As TFTP has reported, the war in Syria has been planned for years and it has nothing to do with humanitarian purposes. We would all do wise to remember the false claims of WMDs in Iraq and the horror story created by US intervention thereafter. Indeed, most conflicts throughout US history have been based entirely on lies, propaganda, and false flags.

Over the weekend, the United States led a coordinated attack—along with French and British forces—on the sovereign country of Syria. Lawyer Burns Himself To Death To Protest Environmental Destruction

A nationally known civil rights lawyer and environmental advocate died after setting himself on fire in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park on Saturday to protest environmental destruction.

David Buckel, 60, doused himself with an accelerant before starting a fire that ultimately killed him.

“I apologize to you for the mess,” he wrote in a suicide note he left in a shopping cart near his body, the Daily News reported.

In an emailed copy of the note the New York Times received, he said: “Pollution ravages our planet, oozing inhabitability via air, soil, water and weather. Most humans on the planet now breathe air made unhealthy by fossil fuels, and many die early deaths as a result—my early death by fossil fuel reflects what we are doing to ourselves.”

The Times further reported:

In his note, which was received by the Times at 5:55 a.m., Mr. Buckel discussed the difficulty of improving the world even for those who make vigorous efforts to do so.

Privilege, he said, was derived from the suffering of others.

“Many who drive their own lives to help others often realize that they do not change what causes the need for their help,” Mr. Buckel wrote, adding that donating to organizations was not enough.

Noting that he was privileged with “good health to the final moment,” Mr. Buckel said he wanted his death to lead to increased action. “Honorable purpose in life invites honorable purpose in death,” he wrote.

Buckel was the lead attorney in Brandon v. County of Richardson, a lawsuit regarding Brandon Teena, a transgender man who was murdered in Nebraska. Teena’s tragic story was the subject of the Oscar-winning 1999 film Boys Don’t Cry, starring Hilary Swank.

The environmental activist was the senior organics recovery coordinator with the NYC Compost Project and worked as an Added Value member at the Red Hook Community Farm. In the video below, Buckel explains how to build a windrow to make rich compost for the local community.

Family and friends told the New York Times they were shocked by Buckel’s death. They acknowledged he had become distraught over the national politics of climate change—”all that’s going on with the Trumpadministration and the rollback by [Scott] Pruitt at the Environmental Protection Agency,” his partner of nearly 34 years, Terry Kaelber told the newspaper.

Experts caution that the cause of suicide is unknown, but can include psychiatric illness, in particular, mood disorders.

A growing body of research shows that climate change is taking a significant toll on mental health, according to 2017 report from the American Psychological Association. The report finds that “ecoanxiety”—the feeling of impending environmental doom—is happening on a global scale.

Buckel also served as marriage project director at Lambda Legal, a national organization that fights for the civil rights of LGBT people. He was the strategist behind same-sex marriage cases in New Jersey and Iowa.

He “was all about justice, but he was also all about what it means to be human,” Susan Sommer, a former Lambda Legal lawyer who is now the general counsel for the mayor’s office of criminal justice in New York, told the Times.

“He was a very smart and methodical lawyer. He knew his craft and his trade and was strategic in how to build the blocks toward a sweeping victory,” Sommer said.

7 Habits That Are Making You Unhappy

Sometimes it is less what we do, and more what we don’t do that has the biggest impact on our lives.

Happiness; something that everyone wants to find in some form, yet elusive enough that many never really find the deep level of satisfaction that they crave. Often we go for everything that surrounds the potential happiness, instead of just going direct to the source. This often leads to immense suffering.

There are many “things” in the world, yet none of those “things” will actually bring us anywhere closer to our desires. It is feelings that we need, and feelings are created by experiences and mindset.

There are many decisions we can make that will bring us closer to the life we desire, but often it is the things we choose not to do that will have the biggest impact.

Perfectionism

It is good to have high standards, but if you expect things to be perfect you will be in for a rough ride. Those who manage to find happiness do so as a result of being able to adapt to the given situation.

Nothing will ever be perfect and you can always tweak an idea to enhance it in some way. But when you get stuck in this, you will never hold the fruit of your labour and eventually the fruit will turn sour.

Sometimes you have a very specific idea and goal, the evolution of this can change over time. If you refuse to adapt, it will cease to exist.  

Over Consumption  

What you put into your body is what you become. If you consume disempowering media and news, you will become disempowered. If you spend time with people who always talk about others, you will become untrusting. If all you eat is junk, you will feel like crap.

With that in mind- If you make the conscious effort to watch, read and listen to empowering media, you will feel empowered. If you choose your friends wisely, you will feel good in their company. If you make an effort to get the nutrition you need, you will feel energised.

We become that which we spend our time doing, choose wisely.

Living In The Past

Living in the past makes us depressed, full of guilt and shame. Comparing to how things used to be. Wishing we had taken our big opportunity or made more of an effort with our loved ones.

You can get caught in the trap of dwelling and live eternally in the past, with every consecutive moment stacking on the last. But the only place we can take action is in the present moment.  

Living In The Future

The other place unhappy people often get stuck is in the future. This creates anxiety of what is yet to come. Some things in life are unknown and the more we dwell on them, the more we get caught up.

Like living in the past, equilibrium exists in the middle ground of this moment. The best way to return to this moment is by consciously doing one thing at a time. Breathing, eating, creating, talking or whatever the task is you have at hand. Try doing just that and being distracted by nothing else.

Comparing Yourself To Others

This is a 2 fold issue, one is placing yourself higher than people around you, the other is placing yourself lower than those around you. We are not superior or inferior to anyone we are all equals here to do our own individual piece.

There will always be areas in which you excel, you should celebrate that, not use it to compensate for areas which are not your best.

The same is true for your flaws, we all have them and we cannot excel in every area. Someone maybe stronger, more intelligent or have more money than you- but they will also have flaws that may not be so apparent.   

We have to learn to work within our natural skill set. Like Einstein said:  “Everybody is a Genius. But If You Judge a Fish by Its Ability to Climb a Tree, It Will Live Its Whole Life Believing that It is Stupid”

Avoiding Solutions

Sometimes we can get so stuck in the problem that we fail to see there is always a solution. It may not be immediate or simple, but for every issue there is a resolve.

Complaining is a perfect example of expending your energy for no reason, while avoiding a potential answer to your problems.

The simple work around for this is to become present and when you feel stuck ask yourself- Is there a solution to what I am facing? And what is the next step I can take?

It becomes more complicated, the more people are involved, however, sometimes the solution is simply to remove yourself from the problem at hand.

Making Things Complicated

There is a very simple equation to happiness- find out what makes you feel happy, and do it! However we can get so lost on the way. We do live in a complex society and often the burdens we have to face come through no fault of our own, however, we can always simplify.

Clear out, drop some of the ideas you are pursuing, empty your wardrobe and throw some stuff away. Remove the complications and free your mind from distractions.  

Happiness is attainable and you can find it by finding yourself. Love yourself and never give up!!! Please share this article.

We have to learn to work within our natural skill set. Like Einstein said:  “Everybody is a Genius. But If You Judge a Fish by Its Ability to Climb a Tree, It Will Live Its Whole Life Believing that It is Stupid”

Avoiding Solutions

Sometimes we can get so stuck in the problem that we fail to see there is always a solution. It may not be immediate or simple, but for every issue there is a resolve.

Complaining is a perfect example of expending your energy for no reason, while avoiding a potential answer to your problems.

The simple work around for this is to become present and when you feel stuck ask yourself- Is there a solution to what I am facing? And what is the next step I can take?

It becomes more complicated, the more people are involved, however, sometimes the solution is simply to remove yourself from the problem at hand.

Making Things Complicated

There is a very simple equation to happiness- find out what makes you feel happy, and do it! However we can get so lost on the way. We do live in a complex society and often the burdens we have to face come through no fault of our own, however, we can always simplify.

Clear out, drop some of the ideas you are pursuing, empty your wardrobe and throw some stuff away. Remove the complications and free your mind from distractions.  

Happiness is attainable and you can find it by finding yourself. Love yourself and never give up!!! Please share this article.

Netflix Paid $105 Million To Unite Worlds Greatest Actors For What Will Be The Most Anticipated Film Of The Century

Netflix has just purchased the rights to ‘The Irishman,’ a film that will unite Robert De Niro, Martin Scorsese, Al Pacino, Joe Pesci & Harvey Keitel. The $105 million deal will be directed by Scorsese and ready for release in 2019.

Based on true events the film will tell the story of Frank Sheeran, a mob hitman played by Robert De Niro. Fellow wiseguy Jimmy Hoffa will be played by Al Pacino, with Joe Pesci and Harvey Keitel also starring.

The actors are very familiar with each other many having starred in past films together, however this will be the first time all involved will be working simultaneously in a film together.

Netflix has secured the rights to what will likely be the most anticipated film of the century, in which they paid $105million for the rights. The deal will allow them to share the film to their 93 million subscribers and will surely boost their subscriptions.

Netflix reportedly started negotiations with Scorsese after Paramount Pictures dropped out of the project, with a spokesperson saying‘Scorsese’s movie is a risky deal, and Paramount is not in the position to take risks. This way, he can make the project he wants,’

A Look Into Non-violent Communication & How It Will Transform The World

When I was first invited to a non-violent communication workshop, I thought the same thing that you might be thinking now, I’m not a violent person and I don’t ever intend to harm anyone with my words so why would I need to learn about this? Well, after learning about it, I can confidently say, trust me – you do!

The label of non-violent communication seems pretty harsh, especially because it is just a term for our regular old ways of communicating, but once you understand what this is all about it becomes easy to see that how we communicate on a daily basis to our children, friends, family members and most importantly, ourselves, is actually damaging and can cause a whole slough of mental health issues that we may have otherwise not realized. Words are powerful, every word we speak is like putting an intention into the universe.

First, A Brief History Lesson

Founded by Dr. Marshall B. Rosenberg Ph.D., after growing up in a tremulous neighbourhood in Detroit Michigan, he developed an interest in developing new forms of communication that could provide peaceful alternatives to all of the violence that he encountered. His avid interest led to a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Wisconsin in 1961; combined with his experience and study of comparative religion, all led towards him developing the Nonviolent Communication (NVC) process. According to the official NVC website,

“A dedicated teacher, peacemaker and visionary leader, Dr. Rosenberg led NVC workshops and international intensive trainings for tens of thousands of people in over 60 countries across the world and provided training and initiated peace programs in a number of war-torn areas including Rwanda, Burundi, Nigeria, Malaysia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Sierra Leone, the Middle East, Colombia, Serbia, Croatia, and Northern Ireland. He worked tirelessly with such groups as educators, managers, mental health and health care providers, lawyers, military officers, prisoners, police and prison officials, clergy, government officials, and individual families.”

What Exactly Is “Violent Communication?”

According to Dr. Rosenberg, “If “violent” means acting in ways that result in hurt or harm, then much of how we communicate—judging others, bullying, having racial bias, blaming, finger pointing, discriminating, speaking without listening, criticizing others or ourselves, name-calling, reacting when angry, using political rhetoric, being defensive or judging who’s “good/bad” or what’s “right/wrong” with people—could indeed be called ‘violent communication.’ “

If there isn’t at least one example in there that sounds like you or has sounded like you at some point in your life then you are doing pretty good. The vast majority of us communicate in this way without ever realizing how damaging and dangerous this can be. This is just a part of our culture and has been for so long that we don’t often think twice about it.

And What Is Non-Violent Communication?

According to the NVC website, Non-Violent Communication involves the integration of four core things:

  • Consciousness: a set of principles that support living a life of compassion, collaboration, courage, and authenticity
  • Language: understanding how words contribute to connection or distance
  • Communication: knowing how to ask for what we want, how to hear others even in disagreement, and how to move toward solutions that work for all
  • Means of influence: sharing “power with others” rather than using “power over others”
And It’s Three Main Desires Are To:
  1. Increase our ability to live with choice, meaning, and connection
  2. Connect empathically with self and others to have more satisfying relationships
  3. Sharing of resources so everyone is able to benefit

Nonviolent Communication is a giving and receiving of messages that centers on two very important questions: 1. What’s alive in us? and 2. What can we do to make life more wonderful?

So, with that understanding, it may be easier to understand how much of how we are communicating is in fact, violent and can certainly be vastly improved. Our words can either put someone down, make them not feel good enough, invoke fear, self-hatred, self-consciousness, and even a lack of self-love or they can uplift, inspire, promote personal responsibility, compassion, empathy, deep understanding and all the tools that one needs to thrive.

By clearly expressing how we are feeling when someone says something that hurts us, it opens up a whole new level of compassion and understanding that may have otherwise never been there. We often don’t realize how disconnected our everyday conversations are. This is about being to the point and upfront and understanding and recognizing ones needs and boundaries. Really, the NVC process includes a whole course worth of information, so this article here is merely an intro that just barely scratches the surface. We’ll just call this article here an intro, as there will be a lot more to follow.

However, if you are having difficulties with your children, co-workers, family or in your romantic relationship and are feeling intrigued and inspired by this method of communication, you can do a quick online search to see if there are any classes available in your area, and there are also a ton of resources available online. Sweden Launches World’s First Electric Road That Charges Cars As They Drive

By 2030, Sweden aims to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels by 70 percent. Days ago, the country took a big step toward achieving its goal.

Sweden is now the first country in the world to have an electrified road that recharges the batteries of vehicles driving on it. Electric rail has been embedded into the nearly 2 km (1.2 miles) of public road which is located near Stockholm.

According to The Guardian, this is just the first stretch of road intended to be built. The government’s roads agency has already drafted a national map which outlines future expansion. By embedding electric rail into the road, Sweden seeks to tackle the problem of keeping electric vehicles charged.

How does it work? When a car or truck passes over the road, energy is transferred from two tracks of rail in the road via a movable arm which is attached to the bottom of the vehicle. Should the vehicle overtake, the arm is automatically disconnected.

Each section of the electrified road is divided into 50 meter sections. When a vehicle stops, the current is disconnected. The newly-developed system is capable of calculating the energy consumption of the vehicle. With this information, electricity costs can be debited to the user of each vehicle. This innovative method of charging means a vehicle’s batteries can be smaller. Additionally, the costs of both manufacturing and upkeep are reduced.

According to Hans Säll, chief executive of the eRoadArlanda, both current vehicles and roadways can be adapted to take advantage of this technology. In fact, he’s hoping exactly this occurs, as Sweden has roughly half a million kilometers of roadway.

“If we electrify 20,000km of highways that will definitely be be enough,” said Säll. “The distance between two highways is never more than 45km and electric cars can already travel that distance without needing to be recharged. Some believe it would be enough to electrify 5,000km.”

“If we electrify 20,000km of highways that will definitely be be enough,” said Säll. “The distance between two highways is never more than 45km and electric cars can already travel that distance without needing to be recharged. Some believe it would be enough to electrify 5,000km.”

Summer is right around the corner in the Northern Hemisphere. You know what that means — shark attacks will soon be on the rise. Fortunately, a newly-developed device is “100% successful” at protecting swimmers and surfers from the predatory fish.

Associate Professor Dr. Nathan Hart of Macquarie University invented the device, which is  overwhelmingly successful at deterring sharks. His solution wasn’t shark repellents, acoustic devices, fake fins, sprays, or color-changing boards, but LED lights.

Said Dr. Hart: “We’re trying to use lights, which is a strategy of counter-illumination, to break up the silhouette of a surfer as seen from below by a shark, and hopefully use this to prevent sharks from coming up and investigating people on the boards.”

ABC News reports that the LED lights can be attached to the underside of the board or incorporated into the board itself. Says Hart: “From the shark’s perspective, when they look up they see a silhouette, [human surfers] look a lot like their natural prey, which is seals. If we can break up the outline of that seal shape on the surface, we’ll make the object much less enticing for the shark to investigate, because they’re going to know it’s not their usual prey.”

The technique was “borrowed” from fish that use the same technique to avoid being prey. “This strategy is a common strategy used by midwater fish, which are trying to avoid predators swimming below them,” said Hart. “Some of these fish have light emitting organs on their underside, which put out light and help them to camouflage themselves from the light coming from above.”

“Technology and engineering take inspiration from nature, so we’re really trying to use that inspiration that has evolved over many millions of years, and apply that to a very modern problem,” the comparative neurobiologist added.

Seal-shaped foam helped the researchers test the device. One seal shaped foam was outfitted with LED lights; the other was left as-is. In a controlled way, Hart and his colleagues pulled the decoys with a boat. They then documented the results.

“So far with our testing, we’ve tried a few designs, we know some things that don’t work, but we’ve come up with at least two different designs which work extremely well, and the sharks essentially don’t touch it all,” said Hart. “So we’re very confident that at least under the conditions tested, we’ve got a very high success rate in deterring those sharks.”

Before the device hits the market, it needs to undergo more testing. So far, the team’s tests have only been with white sharks. They need to assure it will deter other species of sharks, as well.  

“We want to make sure it doesn’t increase your risk of other shark attacks,” said Hart. “It’s not going to be there for Christmas, we’ve probably got another 18 months or two years to run with this research project. Then we’ll be looking to take a commercial prototype and get that manufactured and start trying to distribute that technology and popularise it.”

The end goal is to protect both sharks and humans. “It’s a fascinating area of research, and most importantly we want to protect people, but we also want to protect sharks,” concluded Hart.
